In this subchapter: The term "environmental law" has the meaning given the term in article 24.1 of the USMCA. The term "environmental obligations" means obligations relating to the environment under— (A) chapter 1 of the USMCA (relating to initial provisions and general definitions); and (B) chapter 24 of the USMCA (relating to environment).
