§ 6216. State aid. The city school district of such city shall be entitled to receive apportionments of public school moneys for the elementary and secondary schools maintained in and by such city and under the control of the board of trustees on the same basis as such city school district receives apportionments of public school moneys for the elementary and high school conducted by the board of education of such city.
