Cal. Gov't Code § 19100.5 — Intermittent is in force in the current edition of the Code, and nothing recorded condemns it.
Whenever the appointing power requires the appointment of a person to a position requiring the performance of work on an intermittent or irregular time basis, the request for certification shall state the probable amount of working time to be required in the position. For persons employed on an intermittent or irregular time base, the status, tenure, and methods of separation governed by this part shall be subject to board rule.
