KANNE, Circuit Judge. This case arises out of the reorganization of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company (“Milwaukee Railroad”). The Railroad Labor Executives’ Association (“RLEA”) filed a motion for summary judgment asserting it was entitled to interest on its claims for the period between the order of the district court requiring that Milwaukee Railroad’s rail assets be sold and the date on which the claim became liquidated. The district court granted the motion and held that, as a matter of equity, pre-liquidation interest should be paid.
