MATTER OF McKEON, 26 Misc. 464 (1899) 58 N.Y.S. 589 Matter of the Application for Letters of Administration upon the Estate ofELIZA McKEON, Deceased.Surrogate's Court, Westchester County February, 1899. Schatz Hunt, for petitioner. No other appearance. SILKMAN, S. A petition is presented by James McKeon praying for letters of administration upon the estate of his mother, Eliza McKeon, who was, as stated in the petition, "of the town of Westchester in the said county of Westchester being territory described in chapter 934 of the Laws of 1895." Counsel for petitioner urges that the Surrogate's Court of Westchester county has jurisdiction of that part of the territory of Westchester county which was annexed, or is alleged to have been annexed, to the city and county of New York by chapter 934 of the Laws of 1895, passed June 6, 1895, to take effect immediately.
